Black Snakes – electrical cords

My boy is weird, he’s spends so much time sitting looking at his attention absorbing black box causing caustic degenerative dissonance. The weirdest thing about his box thing is how much snakes love it. I think it makes them tired since they never move but by the end of the day a snake is a snake so you got to get them. My boy got real angry after I killed one of his snakes he started putting this stuff on them that made them taste horrible. I guess these snakes are also my boy’s pet so I just started to leave them alone.

Power Cords

Some dog trainers believe dogs attack (chew) on power cords, shoe strings, and types cords is instincts, they believe they are dangerous things, like snakes.  If you believe that or not dogs,  especially young ones, have a propensity to chew on things they really shouldn’t. You can give them a room full of toys and they will still find your phone charger infinitely more interesting. One of the biggest issues I had with Titan when he was young was his destructive chewing habit. For some reason, he would always chew wires regardless of the number of toys he had. I was so scared that he would electrocute himself when I wasn’t looking that I made sure everything in the home was either hidden or put away. Unfortunately for me, Titans were able to get a hold of my power cables, fortunately, it wasn’t plugged in.

I knew I had to find some way to get him to stop chewing on the cords so I started to try and find ways to get him to avoid electrocuting himself. Now there are a few ways to protect your wires from puppies permeating power cords and each one of them offers a benefit and a disadvantage.

Covering your cords.

One of the first things you can do is cover the open cords now this can range from covering it with a  piece of cloth to hiding it behind the walls.
